How important is it to find gas-free ways to move our cars? Well, we'd be paying a lot less attention to a threat from Venezuelan president Chavez about stopping oil sales to the U.S. if our cars ran on hydrogen or electrons. Since they don't, we'll have to see what happens on the political front while we keep an eye out for the Hyundai HED-5 concept coming in Geneva and Mahindra's diesel-hybrid pickup/SUV, due in 2010.
